In 1997 AFD began rehabilitating the Prey Nup polders along with Gret and Handicap international. The project is based on the creation of a farmers' association to manage the infrastructure. AFD supports Diambars

2015 targets: Eight Times Yes!

1st July: Launch of the French Presidency of the European Union
France took over the Presidency of the European Union on 1 July and over the next six months AFD will be supporting France’s development initiatives.
